\nAPPLICATION INFORMATION
\nMixing ratio A : B = 1 : 4 (parts by weight)
\nConsumption Dependent on the substrate roughness, surface profile and thickness of
\nthe layer applied.
\nAs a guide, ~ 2.0 kg \/ m2 \/ mm (excluding allowances for loss wastage, surface profile and porosity, etc.).
\nYield ~12.5 L of mortar.
\nLayer thickness 0.75 mm minimum \/ 2 mm maximum
\nAmbient air temperature +8\u00b0C min. \/ +35\u00b0C max.
\nSubstrate temperature +8\u00b0C min. \/ +35\u00b0C max.
\nPot Life ~ 30 minutes at +20\u00b0C
\nWaiting time to overcoating If waiting time period exceeds 24 hours, lightly blastclean the surface.
\nSikaTop\u00ae-107 Seal KH can be overpainted using solvent based primers or
\ncoatings. SikaTop\u00ae-107 Seal KH must cure for a minimum of 7 days before
\novercoating.

\nCuring treatment It is essential to cure SikaTop\u00ae-107 Seal KH immediately after application
\nfor a minimum of 3 to 5 days to ensure full cement hydration and to minimise cracking.
\nUse polythene sheeting or similar approved methods.
\nBASIS OF PRODUCT DATA
\nAll technical data stated in this Data Sheet are based
\non laboratory tests. Actual measured data may vary
\ndue to circumstances beyond our control.
\nIMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
\nSikaTop\u00ae-107 Seal KH is not a decorative treatment
\nand may display signs of \u201cblooming\u201d after rain or in
\ndamp weather. This does not affect the
\nperformance of the coating, in any way. Where
\nSikaTop\u00ae-107 Seal KH will be visible after completion
\nof the works, then the off-white colour, which
\nis aesthetically more pleasing, should be used.
\nAvoid application in direct sun and\/or strong wind. Do
\nnot add water in any circumstances. Apply only to
\nsound, prepared substrates. Do not exceed maximum
\nlayer thickness.
\nFor waterproofing or damp proofing application, always use at least 2 coats to give a total thickness of
\nbetween 1.5 to 2.0 mm. In areas of severe water penetration, three coats might be required.
\nProtect freshly applied material from rain.
\nFor waterproofing \/ damp-proofing works, special attention is required to avoid puncturing the waterproof
\ncoating with fixings. These must be accommodated by
\nsurface bonding with either Sikadur\u00ae -31 CF Normal or
\nSikaflex\u00ae Construction (AP) etc.
\nECOLOGY, HEALTH AND SAFETY
\nAPPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
\nSUBSTRATE QUALITY \/ PRE-TREATMENT
\nThe substrate must be structurally sound and free of
\nall traces of contaminants, loose and friable particles,
\ncement laitance, oils and grease etc. The concrete
\n\u201cpull off\u201d (tensile adhesive) strength must be > 1.0 N \/
\nmm2.
\nGeneral:
\nThe substrate must be prepared by suitable mechanical preparation techniques such as high pressure water
\njetting, needle guns, blastcleaning, scabblers etc. and

\ntion.
\nFor pore \/ blowhole filling:
\nBlastclean to remove all contaminants including from
\nwithin the pores \/ blowholes.
\nAs a levelling mortar:
\nPrepare and clean all surfaces by suitable mechanical
\nmeans such as abrasive blast cleaning or equivalent to
\nensure cement laitance, surface contamination and all
\nexisting coatings are removed and all blowholesand
\nhoneycombed areas are exposed. The resultant surface must be profiled to achieve maximum bond
\nstrength.
\nMIXING
\nSikaTop\u00ae Seal -107 must be mechanically mixed for 3
\nminutes using a forced action mixer or in a clean drum
\nusing a drill and
\nAPPLICATION
\nShake part A before using it. Pour approximately half
\nof part A into the mixing container and add part B
\nslowly while mixing. Add the remainder of part A and
\ncontinue mixing until a uniform lump free consistency
\nis achieved. The surface must be slightly pre-wetted.
\nAs a slurry:
\nApply the mixed SikaTop\u00ae-107 Seal KH either mechanically by spray or by hand using a stiff brush. Applied in
\nthe same direction.
\nApply the 2nd coat of SikaTop\u00ae-107 Seal KH, applied
\nby brush in crosswise direction to the first application
